Tidewater Hospice
provides care and support for terminally ill patients and their families so
that they may enjoy their remaining time together as fully and comfortably
as possible. Hospice care enables people to live until they die, and their
families to live with them as they are dying - and to go on living
afterward. We regard dying as a natural part of life.
Our
hospice services are provided by a team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists,
social workers, home care aides, chaplains, volunteers and bereavement
counselors. Our teams work closely together to meet the emotional and
spiritual needs of patients and their families.
Our executive
management team were all born and raised in the Low Country of South
Carolina and have greater than 30 years experience in Hospice and Home Care.
Our team physicians are Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
and work closely with our caregivers to teach the latest techniques in pain
relief and symptom management.
